Letter to the President of United Airlines, after an inadvertently humorous voyage

Mr. Tilton:
I am writing to request that your flight attendants, pilots, and other personnel cease with and discontinue the use of the word "deplane" on all domestic and international flights. The correct term is "exit" or "leave the plane." Use of the word "deplane" makes your otherwise lovely flight attendants look like fools. Please correct this long-performed mistake at once; the gap between flight attendants and passengers will be bridged once and for all.
Thank you in advance. Similar letters will be sent to your competitors.
